  [6] |  | V Vellum Finish  Vellum finish describes paper treated with a fine-toothed texture. While the paper may appear smooth when looking at it, a tilt in the light reveals a fine and evenly applied rough finish.
 |  | Velox  Graphic image, reproduced on light-sensitive paper, that can be photographically copied, scaled, and manipulated before being transferred to the printing plate. Also called Photomechanical Transfer (PMT). |  | Viewing  An occasion on which people are invited to go and look at something, especially a work of art. |  | Vignette  A small illustration or portrait photograph which fades into its background without a definite border. |  | Vignette Halftone  A halftone whose background gradually fades to white. |  | Virgin Paper  Paper manufactured without the use of any recycled or alternative fibers.
