Sheila Tansey's art makes a connection with people. She tells a story with her colourful, sometimes whimsical subjects. Sheila strives to create a connection to the viewer, perhaps something deep within them.

Sheila grew up surrounded by original art created by her mother and she always had crayons and pencils in hand. Primarily self taught, Sheila is a life long learner, taking workshops from many well-known artists. Sheila currently enjoys working in acrylics and oils and she can be found outside and inside, with a sketchbook and camera, searching for sources of inspiration.
