Business Services: There was a time when you could take it for granted that your custom jewellery was made by hand. Today, with computer-generated images and CAD/CAM technologies, finding handcrafted workmanship is rare.

That’s what makes James Bradshaw stand apart from the crowd. A practicing goldsmith for over 37 years, Jim has an expertise and knowledge of jewellery that is something special. It’s hands on.

Jim’s story as a goldsmith began as a member of a craft co-op in Vancouver. It was there that he began to understand the intricacies of working with and designing in gold. He learned from others who were passing down their art. From one set of hands, to another. As it has always been.

Jim’s passion for quality has never wavered. His custom jewellery pieces are a testament to his dedication, and his imagination. Out of Jim’s hands come elegant signature pieces that are either recognized instantly or admired for their exquisite beauty. Each piece is designed and built, using the lost-wax casting process, in Jim’s shop on Birmingham Street.
